The Codes Enforcement Officer is responsible for the efficient and effective enforcement of the Borough Zoning Ordinance and other ordinances/regulations adopted by Borough Council. In the capacity of Code Enforcement Officer, this employee's prime responsibility is the administration and enforcement of the Borough Zoning Ordinance and other Borough Code ordinances. This assignment calls for independent and evaluative thinking.

The Borough of Folcroft will be closed for business on Monday, September 4 for Labor Day. Please note that September 1st is the final Friday for the borough’s summer schedule, closing at 12 Noon. Starting Friday, September 8th, normal hours will be observed on Fridays.

Historical Marker Ceremony Saturday, August 19 to Honor First Black Family in Borough
Folcroft Borough will honor the Baker family - the first Black family in Folcroft, whose arrival prompted a tragic series of events - on Saturday, August 19 at 1:00 pm on the 2000 block of Heather Road.

Vendor applications are now being accepted for Folcroft Borough’s Community Day and Street Fair taking place Saturday, September 23 along Delmar Drive.
All vendor spaces are 12” x 10” - cars may not be parked next to your vendor space.

Folcroft Borough Offices will be closed for the Independence Day holiday on Tuesday, July 4th.
Tuesday’s regular trash pickup will be collected on Wednesday this week; in addition, there will be NO RECYCLING pickup this week.

Part-Time Seasonal Help Wanted for Highway Department
Summer-Seasonal Help – Part-Time $15 per hour
The Borough of Folcroft is offering a part-time position with our Highway Department, 32 hours per week, June through September. Candidates must be 18 years of age or older. Assist with general maintenance of the Borough's Highway Department, including, but not limited to, mowing; weed trimming, litter or garbage pick-up, painting and general maintenance.
Folcroft Borough Council and Mayor's Statement Regarding Charges Against Folcroft Fire Chief
As Chief Weber is entitled to a fair trial, and is presumed innocent until proven guilty, Council and the Mayor refrain from commenting at this time on the specific charges filed against Chief Weber. However, Council and the Mayor remain steadfast in their position that those individuals entrusted to serve and protect our community are under a constant duty to protect children, including the prevention, deterrence, and reporting of suspected child abuse. Silence in the face of child abuse has no place in Folcroft Borough and will not be tolerated from mandated reporters employed by the Borough. Council and the Mayor welcome justice for everyone affected and our hearts go out to anyone affected by abuse.

Folcroft Borough offices will be closed on Tuesday, May 16 for Pennsylvania’s General Primary Election. Polls will be open from 7 AM to 8 PM.
The polling location for Precincts 1 & 2 is at Folcroft Union Church, 500 Primos Avenue; The polling location for Precincts 3, 4, & 5 is at Delcroft Elementary School, 799 School Lane
Folcroft Residents Needed to Serve on Civil Service Commission
Folcroft Borough Council is seeking residents of Folcroft Borough who would be interested in serving on the Civil Service Commission. The Civil Service Commission is a quasi-judicial body which regulates employment conditions for civil servant employees. This is a volunteer position and meets on an as-needed basis. Civil Service Commission terms last six years unless otherwise specified. Members are appointed by Folcroft Borough Council.
