Street Sweeping Begins Week of April 25
Street sweeping in Folcroft will begin the week of April 25 and takes place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Violations can be issued to vehicles that are parked on the street during the posted times, so please observe posted signage and plan accordingly.

Block Captains Needed for Community Clean Up Day - Saturday, April 22
Help clean up your neighborhood by signing up as a block captain at this year’s annual community wide cleanup – Saturday, April 22nd from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Supplies and assistance will be provided by the community. Call your neighbors!

Folcroft Borough will be closing at noon on Thursday, April 6 and will remain closed all day on Friday, April 7.
2% Discount Period on Borough Real Estate Taxes Extended to April 30
The real estate tax 2% discount period for Borough taxes has been extended until April 30th, 2023 at the end of the day. Please note that this extension only applies to Borough taxes and does not apply to school taxes or county taxes.

Delaware River Chemical Spill Update
Water in Folcroft Borough is sourced from Aqua predominantly from their Springton Lake facility, and as a result is not at risk of contamination due to the recent Delaware River chemical spill.
Shared Driveway/Alley Apron Restoration
Beginning March 15 and lasting through approximately March 22, please expect some detours or delays due to apron restoration – the concrete entranceway to shared driveways. During restoration, which should last approximately one week, expect the aprons closest to the following addresses to be closed for several days:

Job Posting: Deputy Tax Collector
The Deputy Tax Collector must be a resident of the Borough and must have resided within the Borough for one year prior to the appointment as Deputy Collector. The Deputy Collector must remain a resident of the Borough during the term of their appointment.
The Deputy Collector must be Act 48 Certified and must comply with all continuing education requirements provided for by law.
Public accountant or certified public accountant experience preferred.

Folcroft Borough Offices will be closed on Monday, February 20 in observance of Presidents Day.
Please note that trash collection is NOT affected and will take place as normal for those with Monday pickup.
Driveway Repaving Project Update - February 2023
With temperatures being warmer than usual, final repaving is able to continue earlier than originally anticipated. As such, work is expected to be completed the week of February 6 in the areas of Delview Drive, Bennington Road, Taylor Drive, Windsor Circle and Valley View Road

Offices Closed Monday, January 16
Folcroft Borough Offices will be closed on Monday, January 16 in observance of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. Residents with Monday trash collection will have their trash picked up on Tuesday; those with normal Tuesday collection will have pickup on Wednesday.
Driveway Repaving Project Update
Major repaving has concluded until approximately late April, 2023. Some milling, base repair and sealing will still be conducted intermittently in various areas. Please note that permit parking enforcement has resumed as of 1/2/23 and there is no plan to suspend it when overlay resumes in the spring as this is a brief process.
Modified Trash/Recycling Schedule - Week of January 2, 2023
There is no trash collection Monday, January 2.
Households with regular Monday trash pickup will take place Tuesday (1/3); Tuesday’s trash collection will be on Wednesday (1/4). There is no recycling this week.
Folcroft Council and Mayor's Statement Regarding Folcroft Fire Department Allegation
Our hearts break for the victim, the victim’s family and the affected community. Folcroft residents need to trust that Borough employees are protecting their health, safety, and welfare. The alleged misconduct is unacceptable behavior which undermines that trust and cannot be tolerated under any circumstances.
Christmas Tree Collection Begins January 4
Christmas tree collection begins on Wednesday, January 4 and runs through the entire month of January.
Please place any trees out along the street on your scheduled trash day and it will be collected by borough staff.
Afterwards, Christmas trees can be dropped off at the borough maintenance yard located at the entrance to Montgomery Park (close to 930 Taylor Drive) on the first Wednesday of every month or disposed of with your regular trash.
Permit Parking Enforcement Resumes in January 2023
Permit parking enforcement will resume in *all* affected areas starting on the night of January 2nd, 2023 at 10:00 pm. Please plan accordingly.
Rear trash collection will also resume on the morning of January 3rd, 2023
Please note that you still may see some construction vehicles in your neighborhood and some limited work may be done over the winter.
