Juneteenth Celebration Saturday, June 15
Folcroft Borough will host a FREE Juneteenth Celebration on Saturday, June 15 from 2 pm-7 pm at the New Municipal Complex Lot (799 Ashland Ave - behind the Library and clock tower).
The event will feature vendors, food trucks, a DJ, and family entertainment.
Borough Offices Closed Tuesday, June 11th
Folcroft Borough offices will be on Tuesday, June 11th while we move our belongings to the new municipal complex at 799 East Ashland Avenue.
Our office will reopen for regular business hours on Wednesday at 8:00 am.
Borough Offices Closed Monday, May 27th - No Trash Pickup
Folcroft Borough offices will be closed on Monday, May 27 in observance of Memorial Day. Trash will NOT be picked up. Regular office hours will resume on Tuesday, May 28th.

Folcroft Borough offices will be closed for business on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 for the Pennsylvania primary election.
Community Cleanup Day - Saturday, April 20

Street Sweeping Begins Week of April 1st
Street sweeping in Folcroft will begin the first week of April and and takes place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Please consult the posted signage on your street for details about which dates and times to expect the sweeper on your block. Notices about cancellation will be posted on this website and social media.
Vendors Wanted for Juneteenth Celebration
The event will take place at the new Folcroft Municipal Complex on Ashland Avenue, and starts at 2 pm on June 15, 2024, and will end at 7 pm. Rain Date June 16 at the same times. However we do reserve the right to move the event indoors if necessary. Vendor fees will not be refunded if you decide to cancel or not show up. For more information contact Ramona at 610-522-1305.
Resident Volunteers Wanted to Serve on Comprehensive Plan Committee
Folcroft Borough is updating its Comprehensive Plan and Council is seeking a total of three volunteers to serve on a Comprehensive Plan Committee to help plan a future vision for the Borough and guide the Plan development process. The Comprehensive Plan will become a roadmap for the Borough as it moves forward.
Borough Offices Closed Friday, March 29
Folcroft Borough offices will close at noon on Thursday, March 28 and will be closed all day on Friday, March 29 in observance of Good Friday. The borough will reopen for business on Monday, April 1. Trash and recycling collection will take place as normally scheduled.
Easter Egg Hunt Moved to Saturday, March 30
MOVED FROM 3/23 DUE TO WEATHER. All are welcome to participate in Folcroft’s annual Easter Egg Hunt, taking place in Montgomery Park at noon on Saturday, March 30.
Prom Dress Giveaway at Borough Hall - Thursday, March 28
Thanks to a generous donation, we have a lot of brand new beautiful dresses to give away. Dresses are first come first serve. One dress per student; Must be a resident of Southeast Delco School District in 8th through 12th grades. Please bring Student ID.

Donate Supplies to PA National Guard - Your Help Needed!
There are about 200 Pennsylvania National Guard soldiers currently deployed to the horn of Africa that need our support. Supplies can be delivered to Borough Hall from Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. All donations can be dropped off at Folcroft Borough Hall through March 20.

Folcroft Borough Police Department Accepting Applications for Full-Time Officers
The Borough of Folcroft is accepting applications for the position of Full Time Police Officer. Applications can be obtained from the Folcroft Borough Police Department, 1555 Elmwood Ave Folcroft, PA 19032 beginning Thursday February 1, 2024, until Thursday February 29, 2024.
Free Mammogram Screening Event Takes Place Friday, February 16
The Delaware County Health Department is partnering with Jefferson Health System to sponsor a mammogram screening event on Friday, February 16, from 9 am -3 pm at the Wellness Center in Chester, 151 W. 5th Street, Chester, PA 19013. A certified mammography technologist from Jefferson Health will perform each mammogram and timely screening results will be provided to each patient. Health insurance is not required. Appointments are limited for this screening event and registration will be handled on a first come, first serve basis.
