Borough Council Members Sworn in at Reorganization Meeting
At the Folcroft Borough Council Reorganization Meeting on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, Mayor Franny DiCicco swore in our newly elected council members.

Christmas Tree Collection Begins January 3
Christmas tree collection begins on Wednesday, January 3 and runs through the entire month of January. Please place any trees out along the street on your scheduled trash day and it will be collected by borough staff.
Holiday Schedule
Happy Holidays from the Borough of Folcroft! Please note that borough offices will close at 12:00 pm on Friday, December 22. Offices will be closed all day on Monday, December 25 for Christmas and on Monday, January 1, 2024 for New Years Day.
Toy Giveaway - Monday, December 4

Thanksgiving Holiday Schedule
Borough Offices Closed Thursday and Friday. Trash will be picked up as scheduled on Friday, November 24
The Mayor and Borough Council would like to extend sincere wishes for a Happy Thanksgiving to all borough residents! Borough Offices will close at noon on Wednesday, November 22 and will remain closed Thursday and Friday.
Tree Lighting at Folcroft Library - Saturday, November 25
The Folcroft Borough Christmas Tree Lighting will take place Saturday, November 25 at the Folcroft Library, 1725 Delmar Drive. The event runs from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, with Santa arriving on a firetruck at 6:30. Bring a camera!
2023 Leaf Collection Has Started
Residents are reminded no trash or sticks can be mixed with leaves or it will be skipped. Please rake leaf piles to the curb and the highway department will collect it when in your area. Collection typically ends around the end of December.
Sponsors Make Our Trunk-or-Treat Street Fair a Huge Success
Folcroft Borough would like to extend a sincere thank you to all who participated in the Trunk-or-Treat Community Day and Street Fair on Saturday, October 28, 2023. Most notably, this event would not have been successful without the generosity of our sponsors.
More than 50,000 pieces of candy were given away during our trunk or treat!
Borough Offices Closed for Election Day, Veterans’ Day
Borough Offices will be closed Tuesday, November 7 for Election Day.
Borough Offices will be closed on Friday, November 10 for Veterans’ Day.
Street Sweeping Concluded for 2023
Annual street sweeping has officially concluded for this year. You may see the street sweeper around town, however you do not need to move your vehicle. Street sweeping will resume in Spring 2024 with ample notice.
Tree Planting and Cleanup – Saturday November 4
Volunteers Welcome!
The Darby Creek Valley Association will hold a tree planting and cleanup event at the wooded lot next to 2300 Delmar Drive on Saturday, November 4, from 9 AM to Noon. Volunteers are welcome to join.
Trunk-or-Treat Street Fair – Saturday, October 28
Following the cancellation of the September 23 Community Day Street Fair, the event has been combined with the annual Trunk-or-Treat on Saturday, October 28 - as one huge event!!!!

Electronics Recycling Event Saturday, Oct. 17 in Rose Tree Park
Delaware County, through a partnership between the Delaware County Parks and Recreation Department, the Delaware County Office of Sustainability, and Covanta Environmental Solutions, is holding an e-Waste Collection Event on Tuesday, October 17, from 9 am to 1 pm in Rose Tree Park.

The Codes Enforcement Officer is responsible for the efficient and effective enforcement of the Borough Zoning Ordinance and other ordinances/regulations adopted by Borough Council. In the capacity of Code Enforcement Officer, this employee's prime responsibility is the administration and enforcement of the Borough Zoning Ordinance and other Borough Code ordinances. This assignment calls for independent and evaluative thinking.

The Borough of Folcroft will be closed for business on Monday, September 4 for Labor Day. Please note that September 1st is the final Friday for the borough’s summer schedule, closing at 12 Noon. Starting Friday, September 8th, normal hours will be observed on Fridays.

2023-24 Parking Permits are available beginning Monday, July 17.
The cost is $60 per year; permits are valid from August 1, 2023 though August 1, 2024.

Historical Marker Ceremony Saturday, August 19 to Honor First Black Family in Borough
Folcroft Borough will honor the Baker family - the first Black family in Folcroft, whose arrival prompted a tragic series of events - on Saturday, August 19 at 1:00 pm on the 2000 block of Heather Road.
