Driveway Repaving Project Update - February 2023
With temperatures being warmer than usual, final repaving is able to continue earlier than originally anticipated. As such, work is expected to be completed the week of February 6 in the areas of Delview Drive, Bennington Road, Taylor Drive, Windsor Circle and Valley View Road
Folcroft Borough Library Board of Directors Seeks Volunteer
The Folcroft Library Board of Directors is seeking a volunteer to fill a vacancy on its board. This is an unpaid position; full details are below.

Offices Closed Monday, January 16
Folcroft Borough Offices will be closed on Monday, January 16 in observance of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. Residents with Monday trash collection will have their trash picked up on Tuesday; those with normal Tuesday collection will have pickup on Wednesday.
Driveway Repaving Project Update
Major repaving has concluded until approximately late April, 2023. Some milling, base repair and sealing will still be conducted intermittently in various areas. Please note that permit parking enforcement has resumed as of 1/2/23 and there is no plan to suspend it when overlay resumes in the spring as this is a brief process.
Modified Trash/Recycling Schedule - Week of January 2, 2023
There is no trash collection Monday, January 2.
Households with regular Monday trash pickup will take place Tuesday (1/3); Tuesday’s trash collection will be on Wednesday (1/4). There is no recycling this week.
Folcroft Council and Mayor's Statement Regarding Folcroft Fire Department Allegation
Our hearts break for the victim, the victim’s family and the affected community. Folcroft residents need to trust that Borough employees are protecting their health, safety, and welfare. The alleged misconduct is unacceptable behavior which undermines that trust and cannot be tolerated under any circumstances.
Christmas Tree Collection Begins January 4
Christmas tree collection begins on Wednesday, January 4 and runs through the entire month of January.
Please place any trees out along the street on your scheduled trash day and it will be collected by borough staff.
Afterwards, Christmas trees can be dropped off at the borough maintenance yard located at the entrance to Montgomery Park (close to 930 Taylor Drive) on the first Wednesday of every month or disposed of with your regular trash.
Permit Parking Enforcement Resumes in January 2023
Permit parking enforcement will resume in *all* affected areas starting on the night of January 2nd, 2023 at 10:00 pm. Please plan accordingly.
Rear trash collection will also resume on the morning of January 3rd, 2023
Please note that you still may see some construction vehicles in your neighborhood and some limited work may be done over the winter.

Driveway Repaving Update - Week of December 12
Monday (12/12) – milling between Taylor Dr and Windsor Cir (YELLOW area on the construction schedule.)
Tuesday through Friday (12/13 – 12/16) – base repair on remaining various milled locations (DARK BLUE, DARK GREEN, ORANGE, LIGHT GREEN, YELLOW areas on the construction schedule.)
Leaf Collection Ends December 16
The last day of leaf collection for the year is Friday, December 16th.
After this date, bagged leaves can be disposed of with your trash.
Leaves bagged in brown paper bags can also be deposited at the borough maintenance yard on the first Wednesday of the month – located at the entrance of Montgomery Park – close to 930 Taylor Drive.
Driveway Repaving Update
On Thursday and Friday (Dec. 1 and Dec. 2) milling and base repair work will be done between Bennington Road, Delview Drive and Grant Road in the areas marked with Orange on the construction schedule.
On Monday and Tuesday (Dec. 5 and Dec. 6) there will be no work in Folcroft.
On Wednesday and Thursday (Dec. 7 and Dec. 8) milling and base repair will be done between Delview Drive and Grant Road in the areas marked with Green on the construction schedule.
On Friday (Dec. 9) milling and base repair will be done between Carter Rd, Edwards Rd and Grant Rd in the area marked with Yellow on the construction schedule.
Happy Thanksgiving! Borough Offices Closed Nov. 24 & 25
Folcroft Borough offices will be closed on Thursday, November 24 and Friday, November 25 for Thanksgiving. We will reopen on Monday, November 28.

On Monday 11/21 expect milling and base repair between School Lane and Grant road in the area marked with light pink on the construction schedule along with paving between Heather Road, Kent Road and Taylor Drive in the area marked with white on the construction schedule.
On Tuesday 11/22 expect paving between Carter Road, Heather Road and Taylor Drive in the area marked in pink (not light pink) on the construction schedule
Lastly, on Wednesday 11/23 expect milling and base repair between School Lane and Grant Road in the area marked with light pink.
Tree Lighting Ceremony at Folcroft Library - Saturday, November 26
Folcroft Borough will hold its Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony from 6:00-8:00 PM on Saturday, November 26 at the Folcroft Public Library and Clock Tower.
Driveway Repaving Update: Week of November 13
Next week, construction will focus on milling and base repair between Carter Road, Grant Road, Edwards Road and School Lane in the areas marked with navy blue, light blue and light pink on the weekly construction schedule.
Borough of Folcroft Closed for Veterans Day Friday, November 11
Please note: The Borough of Folcroft will be closed in observance of Veterans Day on Friday, November 11, 2022. Offices will reopen after the weekend on Monday, November 14.
